This program is an engaging two-day session where participants develop emotional intelligence to increase their effectiveness at the "people side" of work. The course features a unique approach to working with passion and excitement that's been effective for hundreds of professionals from six continents. The methodology comes from a curriculum called "Self-Science," identified in Daniel Goleman's 1995 best-selling book, Emotional Intelligence, as one of two models for teaching EQ. This approach is research-based, time-tested, and proven effective.
- Know Yourself: Increase self-awareness and your ability to decode the hidden language of emotions.
- Choose Yourself: Increased ability to assess your options, follow your intentions to walk the talk.
- Give Yourself: Build loyalty through empathy and engage the power of intrinsic motivation.
During a period of rapid change and complexity, organisations are finding they need more staff who can engage others to work effectively as a team and therefore, create a better future. Most employees have a high level of expertise on the technical side of their work, but few have substantial training on the human side of the job. Employees are frequently uninspired and de-motivated as performance expectations are always being emphasised which continually keeps them on their toes. Emotional intelligence provides powerful insights and tools essential for transforming the workplace to one where people enjoy their work, find passion in what they are doing while building synergistic relationships resulting in a productive and stimulating environment.
