What are the key issues keeping you and your people from optimal success?
Research and experience says over 75% of the challenges leaders experience are on the "people side" - but only about 7% of leaders say they've been adequately trained to address these challenges.
The Problem: Employees are not fully engaged. Communication falls short. Team members are going in different directions. Leaders are not proactively addressing people-issues. Change isn't "sticking" or is dragging...
The Solution: New vision, new skills, new opportunities for engaging from the core.
While many leaders possess the technical skills to succeed, exceptional leaders have a secret ingredient that inspires teams to world-class performance - "EQ". Organizations and businesses from FedEx to the US Navy and Marine Corps are implementing and realizing the benefits of emotional intelligence (EQ) training to help their people become masterful at the "people side" of leadership. Backed by solid research and over a decade of proven, full-time experience in EQ development, Six Seconds provides this innovative program to unlock leadership excellence.
The program includes:
- Confidential assessment of EQ Leadership competencies (SEI-LR) to benchmark current capacity and gain insight.
- Two days of best-in-class training by a world-leader in EQ to develop new awareness and skills.
- (optional) three 1:1 coaching sessions to put the new awareness into action.
- Re-assessment to measure ROI.
Leaders and Managers walk away:
- Stronger and more focused.
- More insightful about themselves and others.
- Less reactive, more proactive.
- Better able to make optimal decisions.
- More effective at communicating with, influencing and engaging their people.
- Focused on building an organization where talented people excel.

"Emotional intelligence isn't a luxury you can dispense with in tough times. It's a basic tool that, deployed with finesse, is key to professional success."
Harvard Business Review April 2003
"This course gave me a chance to slow down and really pay attention to my own emotional patterns. This will help me as a leader, parent and friend."
Lee Hays Assistant Vice President Americredit
"No doubt emotional intelligence is more rare than book smarts, but in my experience it is actually more important in making a leader."
Jack Welch
"In the fields I have studied, emotional intelligence is much more powerful than IQ in determining who emerges as a leader. IQ is a threshold competence. You need it, but it doesn't make you a star. Emotional Intelligence can."
Warren Bennis author of Becoming A Leader
